Return Policy and Form

Electrotraveller values your satisfaction. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you have the right to withdraw from the contract and return the product within 14 calendar days from the day you receive your order, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

Please fill out the return form to initiate your return. Once submitted, we will provide you with return instructions and, where applicable, a return shipping label.

Return Shipping Costs

Unless otherwise agreed, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. This applies in all standard cases, including ordering the wrong product or changing your mind, and is fully compliant with EU Consumer Rights Directive Article 14.

Electrotraveller will cover return shipping costs only in the following cases:

  • The item delivered is incorrect (wrong product sent by us)
  • The product is damaged during delivery
  • The product is defective or not functioning as described
  • The product does not match its description on our website

Return Label

Electrotraveller will only provide a return shipping label when we are responsible for the return. This is the case when the wrong item was sent, the product arrived damaged, or the product is defective or not as described.

In all other cases, the customer is responsible for arranging and covering the return shipment independently using a carrier of their choice. Electrotraveller is not obligated to provide a return label in such cases.

We recommend using a tracked shipping method when arranging your own return, as you remain responsible for the goods until they are received by us.

Return Shipping for Oversized Packages

For larger items such as electric scooters and e-bikes, additional shipping considerations apply. Standard courier limits are as follows:

If your return parcel exceeds these limits, you will be responsible for arranging and covering the return shipping costs. We will notify you in advance if your package falls into this category.

Please note: due to the size and weight of products such as electric scooters and e-bikes, return shipping for oversized items is estimated at approximately €50–€200, depending on your location and chosen carrier. We can assist in arranging collection upon request.

Condition of Returned Goods

Products must be returned in the following condition:

  • Unused and undamaged
  • In original packaging
  • With all accessories, tools, and documentation included

You are entitled to inspect the product as you would in a physical store. However, if the product shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, Electrotraveller reserves the right to deduct a reasonable amount from the refund, in accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive Article 14.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will process your return as follows:

  • Refunds or exchanges will be completed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods
  • You will be notified by email once your return has been processed
  • Original outbound shipping costs (if any) are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error

Pickup and Courier Information

Once your return is approved and a label has been issued, our courier partners, including DHL, GLS, DPD, and others, will attempt to pick up the package. The courier will contact you prior to pickup.

Please note that Electrotraveller does not schedule the pickup time directly. If you require a specific pickup timeframe, you will need to contact your local courier directly to arrange this.

Important Notes

  • This policy applies to purchases made via the Electrotraveller online store and is governed by the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).
  • If the product is not returned in accordance with this policy, Electrotraveller reserves the right to charge return shipping fees accordingly.
  • We recommend retaining proof of postage when returning goods independently.
