Every type of tyre has its own advantages and disadvantages. While solid tyres are harder to ride, they have a longer lifespan, cannot be punctured, and do not require pressure checks. In contrast, pneumatic tyres are more comfortable to ride as they absorb shocks, but they can be punctured and require careful pressure maintenance. Honeycomb solid tyres have good properties of both solid and pneumatic tyres. They cannot be punctured, and their shape also absorbs shocks well, providing a comfortable ride.
You should always pay attention to the correct tyre pressure, as this is often the cause of punctures. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended pressure and never overinflate the tyre beyond the maximum pressure stated on the tyre itself.
